A GUIDING LIGHT

Fitness With Conviction is the force behind it. Come Shine With Me is the hand reaching out.

The person underneath is still there.
Addiction can bury energy, humour and confidence beneath isolation and survival. Come Shine With Me creates a place to move, laugh, belong and begin finding those parts of yourself again.

This is not bodybuilding and it is not punishment. It is functional movement that channels restless energy into something constructive—and makes the journey enjoyable enough to return next time.

For now, all we need is YOU.

FUN IS THE ENGINE

Serious purpose.
The sessions aren’t.

Ball Games

Football, volleyball and games that build skill while keeping everyone moving.

Shuttle Runs

Short, sharp, purposeful bursts that expel energy and sharpen the engine.

Team Challenges

Friendly competition without humiliation, exclusion or standing on the side-lines.

Relays

Cones, races, partners and team challenges with laughter built into the graft.

Circuits

Functional movement, generally kept short, intense, focused and adaptable.

Music & Mischief

Because people return to places where they enjoy being themselves.

Let’s find the warrior
in the worrier.

“Your enthusiasm is infectious.”

CSLA assessor’s written comments.

WHY I UNDERSTAND

Not theory.
Lived experience.

From children’s homes to the streets to prison, my cheeky energy followed me everywhere and usually rubbed off the right way. My fast-thinking brain could lift a room—but addiction buried that version of me.

Movement gave all that energy somewhere constructive to go. I’m not asking anyone to walk a road I know nothing about. I didn’t just wear the T-shirt. I made it.
With Conviction.

OUT THE GATE

THE GATE OPENS.
KEEP MOVING.

Leaving prison clean is one victory. Building a life that helps you stay that way is the next.

Come Shine With Me offers two free functional fitness sessions a week for eight weeks to people leaving custody who are in recovery.

No judgement. No posing. Just purposeful movement, routine, laughter and somewhere constructive to put that energy.

RECOVERY WITH CONVICTION

SUPPORTING SOMEONE LEAVING CUSTODY?

If you work in probation, resettlement, addiction recovery, housing or community support—and you know someone who would benefit from movement, structure and positive company—I want to hear from you.

Help me reach people who are ready to protect their recovery and move their lives forward.

Sessions support recovery but do not replace professional treatment. Pre-exercise screening is required. Nobody trains while intoxicated or medically unwell.

MORE THAN A SESSION

Movement begins it.
Belonging grows it.

Come Shine With Me starts with fitness, but the guiding light is community.

A place where nobody needs to pretend they have everything sorted.

Shared movement, shared laughter and another reason to turn up tomorrow.

Encouragement from people who understand that progress is rarely a straight line.
